Resilience INSET at Ringway Primary School

Laughology

When Jim was a kid, he didn’t much look forward to the start of the school year, but now he’s running Laughology INSET training; it can’t seem to come quick enough!

Luckily for him (and us!), when his FLIP-it Thinking session at Ringway Primary School rolled around, he was ready and raring to go- as were the teaching staff!

The morning was spent happily digging into the question, ‘What is resilience?’, then learning to use FLIP-it Thinking to cultivate and support resilience in ourselves and others.

The staff at Ringway were fantastic sports and lapped up the learning with smiles on their faces. They also invented some of the most ground-breaking secret handshakes Jim has ever seen.

Spare a thought for us at the next HCS team meeting, as we feel Jim will be there with all sorts of handshakes up his sleeve… or on the end of his arm!

If you’d like us (or Jim and his handshakes) to come to your school to help your team build their resilience skills, get in touch with Doug - This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
