Practically Positive Relationships at St Peter’s Infant School

Laughology

As part of their well-being week at St Peter’s Infant School in Oxted, Alison visited the KS1 year groups to deliver workshops focused on practically positive relationships.

The school wanted the children to focus on their own happiness as well as the happiness of others. To begin, the children all shared what makes them happy, and we noted what happened to our bodies as we did so! Alison then used a series of exercises to demonstrate how our own feelings can also impact those around us too.

The children were given tools to help lift them out of their own uncomfortable and negative feelings and, using Bertie the balloon, proved how excellent they were with approaching others’ feelings too! These fun exercises and games allowed the children to absorb the learning.

It was a brilliant day at a wonderful school!
