Leadership and communication skills with High Furlong School

Laughology

Having previously experienced a Laughology session, High Furlong School got in touch to get us back for their teacher twilight training evening, which focused on leadership, communication and culture.

Vicky Maitland answered the call and delivered our Top of the League workshop covering:

  • What are emotional and social intelligence - and how they relate to leadership
  • Exploring communication styles and difficult conversations
  • Understanding Psychological safety and its contribution to a positive culture
  • Finally, we finished with the power of laughter and humour and how they can change our thinking.

The people at High Furlong were brilliant to work with - they got involved in all the activities with enthusiasm. At the end of the workshop, feedback from one of the team included this gem:

“That was amazing! Best training I have been to in a long time.”

Music to our ears! Interested in having some of the ‘best training’ in your school? Get in touch - hello@happycentredschools.co.uk - and our Doug will talk you through how we can help.
