September INSET days around the UK!
Our team of Laughology experts packed their laughter lunch boxes with tonnes of tools to help teachers, teams and fabulous schools start the year with happiness and inspiration.
More than ever well-being and resilience are important in schools, and Laughology is the perfect antidote to the challenges schools face.
And our team was raring to go - including our new Laughologists who were ready to don their happiness capes and head into schools for the first time. We delivered a wide range of sessions, including some of our most popular workshops:
- The Amazing Brain - growth mindset for the staffroom and classroom
- FLIP-it Thinking - build resilience through humour to tackle challenges and change
- Mental Wellbeing - giving school teams the tools to reduce stress, support mental health and improve wellbeing
Our Head of Happiness, Stephanie Davies, headed to Oakington Primary School in Wembley, which satisfied her lifelong dream of being able to say, “Hello Wembley!” It was close and she could see it so that counts, right?
Three schools had come together, so an audience of 200 spent a full day exploring how humour can be used as a tool for learning, teaching and resilience.
Stephanie also spent a day in Walsall School helping teachers develop a growth mindset curriculum, as well as a full day in New Malden with Blossom House School looking at grit and resilience with humour. She ended her busy week with a day in Strathmore School in Twickenham teaching FLIP-it Thinking.
Quite a busy week for our Stephanie and the rest of the team - no doubt a few Curly Wurlys were eaten for that extra energy boost!
If this sounds like something you’d enjoy - the INSET days, not the Curly Wurlys - you can find a list of our laughter INSETS on our Happy Adults page. And you can even create a bespoke one of your own.
