Resources for happy pupils

HCS has been developed by former headteachers and industry experts in psychology, motivation, engagement and behaviour change - so you can be sure it’s full of the good stuff that really matters to creating happier schools, as well as to the National Curriculum.

It’s fun and educational, using popular culture and a host of games to reinforce messages and ensure their relevance to today’s young people. As all teachers know, happy children learn better.

Our resources are grouped into the 5 Happiness Themes, plus a Philosophy for Children (P4C) theme. You can do them in any order, but here’s the one we suggest:

  • P4C Self-Confidence
  • Achievement and Success
  • Positive Relationships
  • Support
  • Coping Skills

Each year group has a set of lesson plans and resources so you can download them and use straightaway with your class.
